Pickleball Passes - Pickleball Punch Pass 10 Pickleball Punch PassIf you love to play pickleball frequently, our punch pass is your solution. TYPES OF PASSES10 punches = $30 Resident/Non-residentThe passes can be purchased online or in the Rec Office and do not expire. If needed, payment can be made over the phone if you are unable to come during office hours. When you attend a pickleball session, Parks & Recreation staff will cross off one box for each day of play. You can gift a punch to a friend as well. Your punch pass can be left at the gym, or you may hold on to it yourself. However, the pass needs to be presented for play. Daily passes must be purchased in person in the Rec Office M-T 8:00 am - 2:00 pmPickleball Daily PassDo you love to "pickle"? Come play pickleball at the Hampden Parks and Recreation Gymnasium located at (85 Wilbraham Road, Hampden, MA 01036). A daily pass is available and is required for each day you would like to play. Daily passes must be purchased in-person at the Rec Office M-T 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Parks staff will be on site to assist you with the daily sign in. Payments can be taken over the phone for those who cannot purchase a pass in person. Once Passes are purchase, there will be NO refunds issued.

Multicultural Art Adventures - Multicultural Art Adventures Session 1 (Grades 1-6) Multicultural Art Adventures is a 6-week, hands-on art program designed to inspire creativity while introducing young artists to artistic traditions from cultures around the world. Students will explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and design while learning and applying the Elements of Art (line, shape, form, color, value, texture, and space) and Principles of Design (balance, contrast, emphasis, pattern, rhythm, movement, and composition).

Session 1 GRADES: 1-6DATES: March 4 - April 8TIME: Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:00 PMLOCATION: Hampden Parks and Recreation Classroom E2 (85 Wilbraham Road Hampden) COST: $135REGISTRATION: January 7th - March 2nd6-Week Curriculum Outline:Week 1: African Kente Cloth DesignCulture Focus: West Africa (Ghana)Students design bold, patterned textiles inspired by traditional Kente cloth, learning how color, line, and repetition communicate meaning and identity.Week 2: Japanese Origami & Paper ArtCulture Focus: JapanStudents transform simple shapes into three-dimensional forms, emphasizing balance, precision, and spatial awareness.Week 3: Chinese Cherry Blossom Scroll PaintingCulture Focus: ChinaStudents create vertical scroll-style paintings using expressive line, brush techniques, and negative space.Week 4: Australian Aboriginal Dot PaintingCulture Focus: Indigenous Australian ArtStudents use dot-painting techniques to create symbolic artworks that emphasize pattern, rhythm, and storytelling.Week 5: Mexican Folk Art & Papel PicadoCulture Focus: MexicoStudents design cut-paper artwork inspired by papel picado, exploring symmetry, contrast, and cultural celebration.Week 6: Gallery Curation & InstallationStudents step into the role of both artist and curator. They will select favorite pieces from the session, mount their artwork using mats, and collaboratively install a student-curated gallery within the Parks & Recreation space. This final week emphasizes presentation, collaboration, spatial awareness, and pride in creative work.
