Safe Sitter® Essentials TrainingThis comprehensive course is designed to prepare participants to be safe, responsible, and confident caregivers. The Safe Sitter® program equips participants with the skills needed to care for themselves and young children in various situations, including emergencies.Participants will learn:
Basic child care skills (feeding, diapering, and entertaining children)
First aid and injury management
Choking rescue techniques
How to handle emergencies
Safety precautions inside and outside the home
Business skills for setting up a babysitting business
This engaging, instructor-led course includes hands-on activities, role-playing, and group discussions. By the end of the course, participants will feel confident in their ability to care for children and manage challenging situations.Certification: Safe Sitter® Certification upon successful completion
*Participants must bring a lunch, snack and beverage with them.
