Ed the Wizard's Alchemy Laboratory! - Alchemy Laboratory
My Alchemy Laboratory is where “Magic meets real science.”We will use three of the four Classical Greek Elements, Earth, Wind, and Water, (sorry, no Fire). Using real science such as Bernoulli’s Principle, Electromagnetism, and Optical effects.Class Structure:Participants are challenged with questions about Alchemy, Scientific Principles, and their general knowledge of the physical world.Volunteers help with each "experiment," or magic routine. They are then asked their thoughts as to how and why the effect worked, after which I explained the science, or magic, behind each effect.Each workshop is about 45- 60 minutes including a short Q&A afterward.
