Falcon Youth Football is a program jointly sponsored by the Wilbraham Parks and Recreation Department (WPRD) and the Falcon Youth Football Association (FYFA).
Registration is open to athletes entering 3rd - 8th grade in the Fall that live in Wilbraham or Hampden OR attend one of the Wilbraham/Hampden schools (School Choice Students need to contact the office to register).

Complete FYFA & SAFL required forms and return at either of the two equipment pick up dates listed below.

-SAFL Consent Form (Returning Player)
-SAFL Registration Form (New Player)
-Participant Code of Conduct and Ethics Contract (to be signed by player)
-FYFA Adult Code of Conduct and Ethics Contract (to be signed by parent)
-FYFA Equipment Loan Form
-Copy of player's birth certificate (New Player Only)
REGISTRATION FEES AND DATES:
Registration: May 27 – June 10, $175
Late Registration: on or after June 11 – $175 + $50 Late Fee
-All players must be registered prior to August 1, unless otherwise approved
-Player registration is not complete until all paperwork is submitted to FYFA and registration fees are paid to WPRD.
-REFUND POLICY: Refunds will not be provided after June 10

FYFA EQUIPMENT PICK UP DATES (YOU ONLY NEED TO GO TO ONE):
Players will be fitted for helmets and pads. Game jerseys will be provided at a later date.

#2 - Tuesday, July 29 from 6-8pm at the lower level of the Spec Pond Concession Stand
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
FYFA PROVIDED EQUIPMENT:
The following are provided and issued by FYFA for use by the player during the season:
-Shoulder pads
-Helmet & chin strap
-Game jersey
-Practice jersey
PLAYER PROVIDED EQUIPMENT:
These items must be purchased by the parent/guardian, they are required for the participant
-Black Football pants for games; any color can be worn for practice
-Football cleats - molded, with non-metal and non-removable cleats
-Mouth guard (NOTE: Clear mouth guards are NOT allowed by league)
-Athletic supporter and cup
*Misc. used pants and cleats may be available during equipment pick-up*
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Each family is asked to volunteer for at least 3 hours throughout the course of the season. Volunteers are critical for successful operation of the program.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- July 16th - Equipment Pick Up Event #1 from 6-8pm at the lower level of the Spec Pond Concession Stand
- July 29th – Equipment Pick Up Event #2 from 6-8pm at the lower level of the Spec Pond Concession Stand
- Friday, August 1st – Pre-Season Practice Begins (Mon-Thurs 6-7:45 @ Spec Pond until school starts
- August 6th - Mandatory parent's meeting @Spec Pond, time TBD (highly encourage for new and returning players)
- August 14th – Mandatory weigh-in at Memorial school @ 6 PM. Coaches will determine if your player needs to attend. If a required player misses SAFL weigh-ins they will play as an “over” player (lineman). Practice will be held following weight-ins.
- August 16th - Pre-Season Scrimmage at Spec Pond, time TBD
- September 2nd - Regular Season Practice Begins (Tues/Weds/Fri time TBD by Coach) at Spec Pond
- September - November – Games start Labor Day Weekend and Playoffs run into mid-November. (Generally JV games are on Saturday and Varsity games are on Saturday evening or Sunday)
